Another important meeting took place in New York at a hotel near central park. By reading a few compositions of François Glorieux the "giant "of the Brazilian music A.C.Jobim was intrigued by knowing the nationality of the author. When François replied Belgian, Jobim said:
"I thought you were Brazilian....".Jobim noticed the latin-american influences François puts in his music. Influences that you will find back in many of his works like: "Manhattan", "Mouvements", "Recuerdos de viajes", "Madrugada no Arpoador", "Divertimento", "Interludes", etc...
